What is Psychosomatic Therapy? Why take that? The Psyche (mind) Soma (body) connection is very real and our body/mind catalogues our life experiences. Our own perception and processing of these moments of each day, each year, each decade (however many years that may be) Then through some very basic learnings we are empowered to move through these moments. Not over, not around, but through our “uncomfortableness”.
If you are prepared to show up every day all day and simply be present then the gift of You begins to unwrap itself. The experiences that have shaped us to be whom we are today don’t require analyzing and/or mental understanding ….but what is important is to process and release when given an opportunity to do so.
Psychosomatic Tools allow us to move through life from our own space. Our own “point of balance” if you will. This allows one to process their experiences free of others expectations or possible feelings of judgement. After all, most of us do enough of that on our own.
I certainly can be my own toughest critic whether or not it is how I would feel if I were viewing it as someone else's experience. Seems silly, but, I am probably not alone in that behaviour.
